Christmas 2012 Pt. 1

Happy Friday!  I'm FINALLY getting around to blogging again and I'm trying to catch up on reading your blogs too!
Things have settled down a bit here after all the craziness of the holidays.  We had a great time with family with several different get-togethers.  Our kids came home on Saturday evening before Christmas.  Our Christmas Day plans changed and everything was kind of cut short because of bad weather on the way.
Our tree is so pretty!  It's covered with of mix of all kinds of things.  We have a tradition of everyone getting a new Hallmark ornament each year so there are quite a few of those.  I love putting them on the tree and remembering the significance of each one.
 Me and Allan

Me and my sweet girl
Boys will always be boys!
Me and Colby
The guys both got the Duck Dynasty book!  We all just love watching their show and I can't wait to read the book when Allan is finished with it.
I want to read this book too, when Ashley gets done with it.  We have followed Lauren Scrugg's story from the beginning and she is such an inspiration.
Me and the kids surprised Allan with tickets to a Bon Jovi concert later on this year!  The kids will be going with him and they're all so excited.
I got an Ipad!  I have hardly put it down since I got it.  LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
Colby's big gift was the new Iphone5 and Ashley's was a new tv!  I hope they enjoy their gifts!
ANDDDDD...the reason our Christmas was cut short was because of 'blizzard condition' on the way to the OKC area so we sent the kids back prepared with new ice scrapers!  ANDDDDD...they hardly got any snow/ice at all!

We had a great Christmas and I'll post more from time spent with grandparents, cousins, and a trip to OKC for another Christmas get-together.
Have a great weekend!

  1. Wow it looks like you had a great Christmas. I love my ipad (it was last years gift) so i've had it a year now. Bon Jovi is one of my faves and i saw them countless times in the 80's.
We could have used those scrapers in Dallas on Christmas day.
