Well, I'm back after a couple of months away from blogging. I really don't have much of an excuse to have been so lax, but it is what it is!
I was so excited for last weekend to get here since our kids were coming home. It had been a couple of months since they'd been home and I'm ALWAYS ready for them to come home.
Colby came home on Friday afternoon. Ashley was supposed to come with him but one of her girls at work got sick and she had to stay and fill in for her. Colby and I went out to the new house while we were waiting on Allan to get home from work.
We left the house and met Allan at Angie's for a catfish supper which is always so good!
Ashley got home around noon on Saturday. She and I tried a new recipe for us to take to the church Halloween party that night. It was almost a disaster! We didn't know if this glob-
was actually going to turn into this delishness or not.
But, it did and they were great!
Saturday night we all went in different directions. Colby went to a wedding at Beaver's Bend, Ashley and I went to Sweet P's birthday party and then Allan and I went to the church Halloween party.

She was adorable! She was so cute opening her presents and looked so surprised with each one! I wasn't there to see her get in her cake since I left early for the church party.
Allan picked me up and we headed down the road to the other party. I'll be posting more about that one later, but we had such a fun time!
We all got home about the same time,. visited a while and then went to bed. Ashley and I actually DID NOT stay up until 1:00 a.m. as we usually do!
Sunday was church and Ashley was supposed to be helping me in my class but instead...this happened.
And...about a dozen more similar to these.
My kids in class are just too cute! I love to see them learning about Jesus and to be so eager to learn.
They were making their fish craft for the 'fishers of men' story.
I know I say this every time I post a pic of them but they really are precious in HIS sight as the song says!
After church we went out for Mexican food with Mom, Dad, and some friends. I didn't take any pics at lunch! What's wrong with me??? Anyway, we had a great time visiting. After lunch, Colby got ready to head back to OKC. Ashley was leaving later because she had to get her hair done.
I just love these two so much!
Ashley and I went to the beauty shop to get her hair all done so she wouldn't look so trashy with her dark roots...haha
B and I colored and then played around with the camera while the hair stylin' was going on.
Carol took care of those trashy roots pretty quickly. We just love her to death. She is a great Christian friend and a wonderful cosmotological genius!
We had a great weekend with the kids, even though it was short and rushed for the most part. I hope y'all enjoyed your weekend too!
