Last week I took my mom to have some minor day surgery.
I was sitting with her after they got her IV started with some relaxing meds in it. When it was time for me to leave, I told her to not be too silly. She said, "Can I sing 'Red Solo Cup'?" The nurse said that she would sing along with her!
I recently made this deliciousness from Pioneer Woman's new cookbook! Apple Dumplings!
They are amazingly simple and so very good! I'll definitely be making these again...more often than I should, probably.
Oreo just makes me laugh! He is our hider out of the three cats we have.
He LOVES boxes! He sat in this one for quite a while, thinking that we couldn't see him. I called and called him and no response at all from him. He was sitting so quiet and still!
We went to Braum's after church Sunday night, as we usually do. Our friend, Jason, ordered this amazing peanut butter hot fudge sundae.
I took the lid that came on it and licked off the excess peanut butter and hot fudge. Jason must have felt sorry for me, or I looked pitiful enough, that he ate just about half of it and gave me the rest! Yay!
I love our Sunday night's with the church group! We have so much fun and it sort of sets the tone for the week ahead.I'm so thankful for Christian friends like Lee Ann!
Hershey is zoned in on the TV! I had it on some kitten show on Animal Planet and he LOVED it. He was trying to take a nap but kept popping his eyes wide open to watch kittens romping around.
Today I went to eat at a little hole in the wall with my parents and a couple other church friends. I didn't know where we were going. This is what I see when we pull up.
I guess the name of the restaurant is just "Cafe". I was really leary of going in to eat! I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! It was great homestyle cooking! Chicken fried steak, baked potato, corn, roll and a melt in your mouth cinnamon roll for dessert. All for $7!
Have a terrific Tuesday!
That ice cream looks amaaaaaazing!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Mom-mom appreciates having that picture posted on the internets. It's nice :)
